Layout

The space is 1,300 square feet and includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small patio that is located at the back of the house off the dining room. Please note that the unit is a third-floor walk-up, no elevator.

It is an open floor plan (dining, kitchen and living room) that can host up to a 10 person event in casual San Francisco style.

Location

Lighting

There are 7 windows in the common area, which includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. They are all essentially oriented to the north and provide amazing diffuse light throughout the day.

We do not have blackout curtains in the common area of the house, but it is relatively easy to create a darkened environment and many clients have done so in the past. The bedrooms all have curtains as well as blackout blinds.

Sound

The space has successfully hosted numerous events with audio, but guests should be aware that it is in the heart of the mission district (a busy area of the city) and some adjustments may need to be made in post-production in order to address ambient background noise. The space is not soundproof.

Parking

There are 3 options for parking:

• Metered spots on the street right in front of the house

• 2-hour parking spots on the alley streets on either side of the property (Lexington and San Carlos).

• Hourly garages a few blocks away (Bartlett Garage + Mission St Garage).

Whichever option you choose, please allow a few extra minutes to park. Mid week during the day there are generally metered spots available right in front of the house - especially in the morning. Evenings and weekends can be a bit more challenging, but you will still typically be able to find a spot within 10 minutes.

You may park in the driveway for 5 to 10 minutes during unloading and loading, but will need to find alternate parking during your stay.

Security Cameras

There are security cameras located in the common areas of the property. No cameras or recording devices are located in the bedrooms or bathrooms. All cameras on the property are visible and easily identifiable.

Requests to disable the cameras made at the time of the reservation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
